Trans Northern and under that logo, barely visible an old painting of Northern Air Cargo.
The registrations and liveries of the vintage aircraft still in operations can change quickly here with the smaller ‘tramp’ operators, that fly fuel and cargo to the remote islands and communities of Alaska.
On this picture, an engine change is about to take place on Anchorage Int. Airport. In open air, and far away from the slick Jet Airliner operations on that same airport.
B-747 and C-47 line up on the same runway, they have their cross roads here but fly in entirely different worlds of aviation. Watching this is like stepping into a time travel machine, it keeps amazing me since my kid years..
